For a Foundation.   The Dominican order consists mainly of priests,erudite
in theological sciences and propagators of truths of Christian faith.Their
slogan is truth,their mission is: to praise,bless and prech God. The
founder of the Order was St. Dominic,the best-known of isaints are
St.Thomas of Aquino,St.Catharine  of Siena,St.Margaret of Hungary,etc.
This order,Which was functioning also in Sopron i.e. in that part
ofHungary boerding on Austria was-like the other religious  -expelled from
its houses overnight in l950 by the communistic regime.After the pains of
40 years the Divine providence gave them back the possibility of functio- 
 ning.The church in Sopron needs to be renewed.                           
                      In October 1996 a fundation was established with the
aim of helping Dominican  friars who want to work in Sopron.We would like
to renovate the beautiful Baroque church and the more than 200 years old
ensemble of buildings set together with it, exquisite with its arched
cells but seriously damaged. Financial    support is obtained only from
the considerate faithful souls but from this sum the costs of the whole
reconstruction can not be met.                                            
     That's why we are turning to the national and foreign benevolent 
persons,         requesting them to help by their kind gifts to
reconstruct our church and priory     building, that at the turn of
milleneum we should be enabled to work once again    under suitable
conditions for the laudation of God.

Miert nem eleg a Baloghnak a HUNGARY lista, ahol majdnem kizarolag a
